This blog is an attempt to tell the stories that are found in the the grit of daily living. I want small, embarrassing realities to find shelter and safety here. I am an American girl (woman?), navigating a one and one half year old marriage in a foreign place - we live in Paris! - within a cramped apartment (10 x 10 foot, total). Student loans are accumulating and our student stipends are not sufficient. Fertility medications enhance my moodiness and my cross-cultural marriage with my Mexican is a beautiful gift, but a work in progress.
But this is us! Our real life!
I hope that in honesty, there is be healing. I hope that within a tangle of emotions, I can recognize my own truth. I hope that after sorting through the clutter, there is clarity.
